Like all Uplift schools, Williams Preparatory will work to become authorized as an International Baccalaureate school. Williams Preparatory Middle School is authorized to deliver the Middle Years Programme. The middle school received their authorization in May 2012. Williams Preparatory Primary School is an IB Candidate School. The primary school hopes to become an authorized IB World School by September 2013. Our Irving sister-school, North Hills Preparatory, is one of only 21 schools in the Americas to be authorized for all three levels of the IB program - the Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP) and Diploma Program (DP).
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit foundation established in 1968, providing an international curriculum standard for three challenging programs: the Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP), and Diploma Program (DP).
