The North Hills Lottery Deadline has passed. Any applications received after the 12/1/2012 lottery deadline will only be considered after all applications received during the open lottery period have been considered. The applications received after the lottery deadline will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist for their respective grade in the order received. Things to know before you begin the online lottery application:
Please review the Frequently Asked Questions before completing an application.
The online application is only valid for the 2013-2014 school year.
We are no longer accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year.
All applications submitted before the lottery deadline are included in the lottery.
Do not submit more than one application for each child applying to this school.
Names of selected students will be placed on the Lottery Announcements page within 3 weeks of the lottery deadline.

IT’S LOTTERY TIME AGAIN!!
2013-2014 ADMISSIONS INFORMATION
Applications for the 2013-2014 school year will be available on our website beginning November 1st, 2012 and must be completed by December 1st, 2012. This includes applications for siblings of current students. This year the application will be online only. No paper applications will be available.
We will be holding our annual Information Session this year in our gymnasium on Saturday, November 3, 2012 beginning at 9:00 am. It will begin with a general assembly session, lasting about 45 minutes. Following this session we will break into smaller grade level groups. Our Student Ambassadors will be conducting tours of the school after the meeting for anyone who is interested.
Thank you for your interest in our school. The following is a description of our application process:
· If the school receives more applications than the number of available spaces in a grade, admission to that grade will be based on a computer driven random lottery drawing to be held in early December. We will have an online application. Results will be posted on the school windows as well as on our website at www.northhillsprep.org by December 20, 2012.
· If you do not want your child’s name posted on the website or school windows, please contact Sharon Harman at 972 501-0645, ext 3515 when submitting your application.
v Siblings of students currently enrolled at the school will receive priority in admission provided that they submit an application during the open application period.
v Applications received outside of the open application period are date stamped and considered after all applications received during the open application period are exhausted. If an application is received for a grade that does not have a waiting list outside the open application period and there is a space available in that grade, the applicant will be offered admission.
NHP Information Session - Saturday, November 3, 2012
We hold an information session for applicants the first Saturday of the application period. Please make plans to attend if you would like to learn more about the school, the program of study, and our extra-curricular activities. This session will begin at 9:00 am and will conclude by 11:00 am. It will be held in our gymnasium, which is located at 606 E. Royal Lane, Irving, Texas 75039.
Additionally, you are welcome to schedule an appointment with Sharon Harman, Admissions Coordinator, to discuss any questions you may have about our school or the open application process.
